TexCrete Light is a thixotropic, quick-setting, enhanced fibre-cement blend designed for moulding fine, intricate castings.
This lightweight version reduces the cured item’s weight by 50 %, making it ideal for overhead applications and easy handling.
TexCrete Light is a thixotropic, quick-setting, enhanced fibre-cement blend designed for moulding fine, intricate castings.
This lightweight version reduces the cured item’s weight by 50 %, making it ideal for overhead applications and easy handling.
TexCrete Light is formulated by blending fibre-cement with FlexBond and impregnated with CemForce to create a reinforced casting mix.
Applied at thicknesses of 4–8 mm into latex or silicone moulds, it achieves fine surface definition and rapid early strength development. The lightweight formula offers the same performance as standard TexCrete while halving the weight of the finished casting.
Each 10 kg bag covers approximately 0.75 m² at 5 mm thickness, and the mix is best cured by allowing it to dry fully before wetting to enhance strength.
TexCrete Light can be tinted in powder form with ColourCem up to 5 % by weight or coloured post-curing with CreteStain for permanent colour effects.
