EpoxyGuard – DeepPrime: Solvent-Based Epoxy Concrete Primer

EpoxyGuard – DeepPrime is a two-component, clear, solvent-based epoxy primer designed to enhance the adhesion and durability of concrete surfaces. This aliphatic amine adduct cured epoxy penetrates deeply into the substrate, sealing concrete pores, reducing outgassing, and strengthening the surface. It is particularly effective as a primer for joint sealants and epoxy coatings, especially on previously contaminated floors that have been cleaned and prepared.

Application

Ensure all surfaces are clean, sound, and dry. Mix the Activator and Base components thoroughly and apply the primer with a medium nap roller at 6.4 m²/litre. Allow to cure for 6 hours and apply an additional coat if necessary. The coating can be exposed to light traffic after 24 hours and full traffic after 5 days.
