Benefits of Cemcrete Concrete Hardener

This product is mineral based and thus unaffected by UV exposure
Suitable for improving the quality of concrete floors in factories, warehouses and any other area where hard non-dusting floors are important

FAQ

Q: Can I apply Concrete Hardener to a wet area?
A: No. However, if it is slightly damp (but looks dry) then you can apply it but the surface must not be saturated with water. The surface must have a certain degree of porosity so that the Concrete Hardener is able to find the pores/cavities within the cement matrix.

Q: My builder has left me with a screed that can be scratched away with my finger and is friable, will Concrete Hardener provide me with a hard solid screed?
A: Concrete Hardener relies on the free available lime within your screed to initiate a chemical reaction that densifies your screed surface. It will not compensate for the lack of cement used in a screed mix. In this case it would be better to replace your screed.

Q: Can I apply this myself or do I need a builder to do it?
A: Yes, this is suitable for DIY applications. Q: Will Concrete Hardener work on a previously painted wall? A: Only if you grind the floor to the point beyond where the solvent/carrier of the previous paint has penetrated. This is normally 2mm to 4mm depending on what coating was used.
