Backing Pad UNI 5/16” + M8 Grip, 150mm, 61 Holes

The Mirka Abranet® medium density Unipad 150mm (6″) is a versatile backing pad designed to accommodate all hole combinations. This unipad is optimised for flat surfaces and boasts high edge durability, ensuring a long lifespan and consistent performance. Its design includes 6 larger holes, allowing for the use of conventional discs with 6-hole, 9-hole and 15-hole patterns.

This backing pad is suitable for narrow shroud machines. However, it is not recommended for use with 150 mm ROS machines, as the combination of the Uni-pad wide and Abranet shroud machines may not provide optimal dust extraction. Each pad is delivered with one 150 mm (6″) pad saver.

For correct installation, always use the supplied spacing washers to ensure a minimum gap exists between the sander’s shroud and the top part of the backing pad. The screw needs to be tightened firmly and the backing pad should never turn idle. Regularly check that the screw remains tight to maintain optimal performance and safety.
