Anti Slip Tape

Anti Slip Tape is a self-adhesive tape designed for both industrial and domestic applications, providing enhanced grip on slippery surfaces, particularly in areas prone to both dry and wet conditions, such as tiled ramps, steps, and walkways. While water-resistant, it’s not suitable for areas constantly wet or submerged, and should only be applied to non-porous substrates. Prior to application on porous surfaces, sealing or painting is required for optimal adhesion.

Application:

• Ensure the substrate is clean and free from all oil, wax, dirt, and other residues.
• Cut the strip to the required size and round off any corners.
• Peel back the wax paper and carefully align the tape before making contact with the substrate.
• Press the tape down firmly onto the substrate, tapping lightly with a rubber mallet to ensure adhesion.
• Allow to set for approximately 30 minutes before light traffic and 12 hours before heavy traffic.

Tips & Tricks:

• For extra protection in severe traffic and wet areas, seal the edges with Anti Slip Tape Edge Seal or high-quality silicone sealer.
• Rough and porous areas should be treated before application. Refer to the sealing chart for appropriate preparations.
• Regular maintenance involves gentle brushing with a stiff plastic brush to loosen sediment, ensuring not to damage the surface or lift the strip.
